Welcome to Skagen AiR. A Danish residency for professional Nordic artists irrespective of art form, with focus on creative communities, inspiration, and production.
The aim of Skagen AiR
The aim of the programme is to foster exchanges between the resident artist and the local businesses community, the surrounding nature, the people of Skagen, and fellow residing artists, and to support the artistic process and research phase of the resident artist by giving them time, space, and opportunity for reflection and focus.
The residency offers Nordic artists the opportunity to develop new and valuable relations with the community in Skagen and the unique nature and the history of the artist colony that originates here for the benefit of the regional art scene and Nordic contemporary art in general.
