Anders Malta

Anders is a Danish composer working across genres and media. His current focus is on film composition, orchestration and arrangement for various ensembles, as well as commissioned works.

Anders has collaborated with a wide range of symphony orchestras, including Copenhagen Phil, the Danish Chamber Orchestra, the Latvian Radio Orchestra, and the Budapest Art Ensemble, contributing orchestration and arrangements for both film and concert performances.

In addition to composing, Anders is an active trumpet player. His work ranges from intimate performances on the Copenhagen jazz scene to serving as a soloist with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Anders’ compositions are always closely tied to their source of inspiration. Through methods such as interviews, research, field recordings, sampling, sound stretching, and DIY instrument building, he continuously explores new forms of musical expression.
