Kirstine Lindemann Sørensen

With a particular interest in the body and movement as compositional material, Kirstine’s work revolves around the space between you and me. In 2025 she received the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Honorary Award, and in 2024 the Pelle Prize named after composer Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen. Lindemann is also the recipient of the Danish Composers’ Society’s special work grant Nye Veje, in which she explores AI’s capacity to fail in sound and movement.
